Where the last one was painted in warm colors I opted to paint this one in what I feel is a more traditional color scheme.
I love her happy face.
and what a cute profile
She even has a waist line.
To me snowmen and women seem to be such happy folk.
After painting her using three shades of blue and a bold splash of a gold for her scarf and mittens I used a walnut stain to give the piece an aged appearance then I brushed white pearl over the entire figure. It's hard to see in the photos my little snow gal almost looks like she's made of metal. Usually my figures appear to be carved from wood so this is a bit different.
I think this little snowman and my newest piece make a cute couple don't you?
I hope you enjoyed seeing my newest little snow person. I really enjoyed working on her and speaking of work I should get back to it.
As always, thanks for stopping by.

Not just a couple couple - TOO CUTE.
Hi, Miss Maddyrose.
Um, it's humid at the North Pole? Really? I was hoping it was snowing like crazy up there. Gee, even here in the USA it's snowing in Colorado.

They are lovely as is your blog! Thank you kindly for dropping by my Halloween party post :o)
Oh I love that wee face too, she looks so happy!
Maddyrose..your sweet little snow people are adorable. You do such a good job. I have to smile when I see the count down to Christmas..my most favorite holiday.
Do you decorate HUGE for Christmas? I'm afraid I do! Even after all the children left home..and I enjoy every single moment.
Love to you this beautiful day!

Maddy, Each time you post a new creation, I think it is my favorite...well, here's another favorite! I am also glad to know we can expect a Belsnickle or two before Christmas!
Oh Maddy, I just love this snow lady! Such a sweet face.. I think it takes a very special talent to make a seeminly simple snowman/or snowlady have a personality. One might think aww..this is easy, but giving them each their own snowsonality would prove to be challenging I'm sure. to give every one their own special face..now thats talent, and YOU my dear, have tons of that! These are Charming, with a capitol CHARM!! xoxo Christel
This little sown girl is special. I love her smiling face. Yes I think I like the cool colours on snow people better. You are at the North Pole, so I wonder what the people up in the cold land think?

Adorable snow people!!! It's cold outside right now in MA and this makes me wish for snow!
Sweet! They have good attitude maybe because they know life is short and needs to be lived happily and fully! Well done, I do love their smiling faces.

Love your snow woman, sis! And yes, they do make a very cute couple. I love the finish on them.
Oh, this snow lady is lovely indeed! She has the sweetest face and I love her outfit. A waist line? Ooh-la-la - That is sure to get Mr. Snowman's attention. Maybe they could have a sweet little snow baby. ;-)
