THE LAST OF MY SNOWMEN

The last of my snowmen is another young boy. His name is Benjamin and he's different from the other five that I've recently completed. He's actually the first one I started and is about an inch taller than the other five and is a few ounces heavier. The reason he took longer to complete is because the paper mache clay on him is thicker and dried much slower. Another thing that makes him different is he isn't wearing a coat. I've painted him in primary colors although the scarf doesn't look very blue in these photos.

As you can see, Benjamin is closer in style to my earlier snow people.

Another cute carrot nose and a pompom on his hat. This hat's a bit different as the tip of it hangs off to the side.

Benjamin has black bead eyes and holds a rustic paper mache star. He has been painted, stained and glazed like the other snowmen that I've recently completed.

Now you've seen all of this years snowmen. Benjamin like the other five will be offered for sale during the upcoming online Christmas craft show.

As always, thanks for stopping by.

Benjamin is absolutely adorable!
just look at his precious face. I love that he is holding a star.

The group shot of all your Snowmen is spectacular and makes quite a statement. They are all so wonderful and each little snowman has their own personality.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Miss Maddyrose,

I like Benjamin, does he like being called Ben?

Did Bellamine ever get over her temper tantrum? Gee, it was my fault cause I asked her how we could visit during the Old Fashioned Christmas Show this coming weekend, since she lives at the NP and I'm in the USA.

I still think Santa or one of his Reindeer could help us visit each other.

Benjamin is too cute and his rustic star is absolutely charming! Your work is so wonderful and truly takes me back to childhood with all of my precious memories of homemade hard candy and soft fires in the fireplace. Thank you for always touching that special place that lingers within my soul, sweet Maddy Rose. Hugs to you always.
