Holiday Decorating

Hi everyone, its Bellamine & Wendy here and we're going to show you what we have done so far to decorate for the holidays. This is just the beginning so we may have more to show you closer to Christmas.

First we're going to show you our big tree in the living room and go on from there.

The tree is 7 1/2 feet tall and is decorated with only handmade ornaments. Most of them were made by our mom and we helped with some of them. Other ornaments were made by our friends and relatives.

The BEE-U-TEE-FULL polar bear ornie is from our friend Prudence and her mom.

Bellamine, that little snowman isn't handmade. Is it?! I thought Mom said this tree was just for the handmade ornaments.

It's OK Wendy, Mom said I could put my snowy ornament on the big tree cause he's too big for our tree but maybe we shouldn't say anything about it and nobody will notice.

This cutie pututie ginger boy was made by our auntie Maggie. Isn't he the sweetest little softie?

Our mom has many collections and one of our favorites is her collection of Christmas bears.

She puts some on tables

and sits others on the mantel

and some are put on the buffet

Another thing our mom collects is Snowpeople. There are many different kinds of snowmen like the two here made of iron and there's a hook that holds a Christamas stocking.

and then there are the softie snowies like this little family here. The mom and dad were made by our auntie Maggie and their son was a gift from our grownup sister Bambi.

Bambi also gave us the little Snowman snow globe under our tree.

We especially like the Snowman painted on this little house. If you look close you can see where is says, "Let it snow....somewhere else." Teeteetee

In the weeks between now and Christmas we'll be helping our mom do some more decorating and help her bake cookies and make candy to give to our friends and neighbors.
We will also be watching Christmas movies and wrapping gifts and being the best little bears there is so we get lots of pressies from Santa and our mom.

That's it for today. Now we're going to go see if our mom needs help with anthing like maybe licking a spoon or taste testing something. We think she's making peanut butter fudge today.

See you all really soon. Remember that you need to be on your best behavior if you want Santa to leave you lots of pressies.

Hugs,
Bellamine & Wendy

Hi Bellamine, Hi Wendy;

We love the big Christmas tree, and all the bee-u-tee-ful handmade ornies. So what if there is one that isn't handmade, the way I figure - somebody made it. Right?

I would love to see YOUR Christmas tree, I mean the whole tree.

You are a good tour guide, Bellmine, that is a beary important job. And we love all your Mom's collections. It's so nice to tour homes at Christmas time, don't you agree?

Have fun making that fudge. (o: It sounds yummy.

Heaps of Hugs,
Prudence ♥

Hey Bearlings: You have done a lovely job of spreading out the holiday cheer and decorating in your house. I love all of your snow people and especially the little Christmas bears. I also spied some of your Mom's handiwork in there.
I'd say that you are working hard to make it jolly and bright. Hope you enjoy helping with the peanut butter fudge...it's my favorite too.

Hi Bellamine and Wendy:-)

We had so much fun seeing your beau-ti-ful Christmas tree and all the special ornaments!! We've been busy helping Mama Pea get ready for Christmas as well. She told us all about Santa and the gifts he brings good little bears...we just hope he's forgotten some of the "oops" moments we've had while trying to be good!!

Lots of hugs and kisses, Misty & Tiffany xoxoxoxo

A 7 1/2 foot tree? Wowee! We love all the handmade ornaments, and all the other ones besides, but we really love the polar bear.

Hope you got lots of bowls and spoons to lick!

Dearest Bellamine and Wendy;
Oh, what a great job you two helped for your Mom☆☆☆ I woke up this morning and enjoyed the stunning beauty of the Christmas Decorations in your home♡♡♡
The tree looks really proud being ornamented with gorgeous decorations made by your mom and others. LOVE the cute snow people and your bear friends; so adorable, aren't they(*^_^*)
Oh my!!! It is really pity that I live too far away to enjoy with my own eyes!!! Sure must be GORGEOUS(^_^)彡☆
Tell your Mom that I SO much admire her talent for all of these. I can imagine how hard she must have worked.
LOVE and HUGS to my American bs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

Hello friends...Dollie Wendy here at the Lavender cottage, I love all of your pretty handmade decorations. But do you think you have enough teddy bears and snowmen? Are there enough candy canes and gingers? Dollies worry about things like this! And when will I get my Christmas outfit on? Something else to worry about! Happy holiday...dollie hugs, Wendy!

Wow! A tree with hand made ornaments is such a lovely idea! It looks wonderful, and adding to it every year must be part of its charm. What a lot of bears! Thank you for helping me get into the Christmas mood. Now I want a mince pie!

Hi friends,

Oh goodness, we love your tree and all the pretty ornaments. Mama was looking at some of the pretty Christmas bears and loved them so much.

We've been busy putting up our decorations and have all the prezzies wrapped! Are we not good bears??

Peanut Butter Fudge sounds bearlicious. Peanut Butter is mama's favorite thing in the whole wide world! Of course except for us, we are always in her heart. We are blessings you know. Mama said all our bear friends are.

I'm really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It's
a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for
