HAPPY NEW YEAR

It's hard to believe we've come to the end of another year. So many things have happened this year but looking back I can't seem to recall what they were. Do you remember what you were doing last year at this time? I guess if you celebrated by saying your goodbyes to the old year and welcoming in the new one by partying with friends you might. I think I might have sat quietly at home watching a movie. That is how I spend most of my time. Quietly and alone.

This past March I started blogging. I hadn't even visited a blog before I started mine. I really had no idea what a blog was. My sister Marlene helped me get started and Maggie gave me a bit of help with the appearance of my blog site and the rest is history.

I've made some wonderful friends out here in Blog Land and I'm thankful for your friendship. It means a lot to me. I've been invited into your homes and have met some of your family members. I have shared some of the good times with you and have shared some of the sad times. I will probably never meet any of you in person but that doesn't take away from the feelings I have for you. I hope to share many more happy moments with you.

I want to wish each and every one of you a very happy and healthy new year.

~Happy New Year~

As always thanks for stopping by. See you in 2012.

Hi Maddy, Happy New Year to you too.
And last year, as this year, we're watching Monica!!!!! But, we usually go to my daughter's friend's party and around 10 we bring Monica home. But this year, no party, as the host's mother passed away Thur and the funeral was today!!!!
And, as I was reading your blog, I was wondering when you started blogging, as you seem to be everywhere and always comment on mine and so, you answered my question. You wrote this post so eloquently, I wish I could have written what you wrote. I'm not a writer. I can say it in my head but it doesn't get typed what I'm thinking!!!!

Wishing you a great 2012!!!!

Lois

Dear Maddy, You sound just like me. I wouldn't have a clue what I was doing last year. I know it wasn't earth shattering.I must look up my blog, I'm not sure if it was March or April that I started. I would not have met you had we not taken that first step into the unknown. It was so scary for me. All the wonderful friends from all around the world can converse, it is so good.
Don't live in SA at the moment I'm melting.
Hugs
Kay

My dear sweet Maddyrose, I want to thank you for the gift of your beautiful friendship this past year. You are a warm and very real person and I love that about you.

I enjoy quiet time myself. While other people recharge themselves by being in the company of others, it only drains me. It is in solitude that I rest and recharge. I wish for you a wonderful new year filled with all that you love and hold dear. Hugs, Mina

Maddy, the holidays have put me behind in my blogging, so here I am trying to catch up. The tree and all the decorations are finally boxed up and ready to go into the attic. How many days until Christmas...oh, let's not start counting yet! I, too, am looking forward to sharing happy moments with blogger friends, like you...lots of fun, really! Best wishes for a great 2012!
