WHAT’S MY LINE

Does anyone recall a popular television game show of that name that ran in the US from 1950 to 1967? I feel like I’ve been playing a part on the show as one of the celebrity panelists. My mind wanders while I work and dumb stuff starts popping in.
I’ve been working on those dratted heads and have spent the better part of these past two days painting three of them and since the three are different versions of the same character I started thinking about how at the beginning of the show before the panelists would come out the announcer would ask each of the contestants a question and each of the contestants would answer and it would go something like this:
Announcer: Contestant Number One, would you please tell the audience your name and what it is that you do?

My name is Santa Claus and on Christmas Eve I travel the world and give toys to good little girls and boys.
Announcer: Contestant Number Two, would you please tell the audience your name and what it is that you do?

My name is Santa Claus and on Christmas Eve I travel the world and give toys to good little girls and boys.
Announcer: Contestant Number Three, would you please tell the audience your name and what it is that you do?

My name is Santa Claus and on Christmas Eve I travel the world and give toys to good little girls and boys.
See why I’ve been having this strange dialog running around in my head? Now, if you were one of the panelists which of the three gentlemen who claim to be Santa would you choose? Who would you vote for? Would you vote for Contestant Number One? How about Contestant Number Two? Or does Contestant Number Three have your vote?
If you want to play the game please tell me which of these three heads belongs to the real Santa Claus. Your vote may determine which of the three gets a body first.  I have one body started and haven’t decided which of these heads is going to be the one. Help me decide.
Friday I received a package in the mail that was filled with some delightful treats and I thought I'd give you a peek so you can see how lucky I was to have been picked in a recent giveaway at Fox On The Run Meanderings. I was the winner in the fourth giveaway and this is what I won. The glitter couldn't have come at a better time. With all of the ornaments Bellamine and Wendy have been making I was completely glitterless and needed to get some before their next ornament making session.

Am I lucky or am I lucky? Thanks for being so generous Mary, I'll try to do something special with what you sent. Pop on over to Fox On The Run Meanderings if you want a chance to enter their current giveaway. These are some seriously talented and truly nice women and they always have something fun going on.

I hope you’re having a wonderful day. As always, thanks for stopping by.

Hi Bellamine, Hi Wendy;

Your Mom received bee-u-tee-ful prezzies. I hope she shared something with you.

I vote for Santa #3, I like his soft, kind eyes. I could tell him what I would like for Christmas, then give him a big hug. Giggle.

Hugs ♥
Prudence

Hi, Miss Maddyrose,

I love all three of your Santa heads. But my fav is #3.

You can't beat that soft gentle look in the eyes on number three. It's exactly the way the REAL Santa looks! :D

I think it's number 3...a little rounder face and looks just like Santee Claus! Congrats on your win...neat stuff!

I vote for Santa number 2! He looks like he has no trouble taking command of the reindeer. Number 3 is just a little timid looking, MHO. But ALL of them deserve their bodies, girl!

I'd really have to ask them questions such as "How many elves do you employ each season?" and "which is your favorite reindeer?" and "Does Mrs. Claus really make all the cookies or does she have help?" and "Do you ever plan to retire?". Then I might have a better guess, after hearing their answers.
Thanks for the shout out for our blog give away, glad you are enjoying your gifts.

Well cutie....Casa de Cuckoo took a vote and we say while all are Santa material....number three has our vote as the Real Deal. But ya know voting on disjointed heads seems a little....uh....strange. So we did our very best as a true judge of strange as a group. The Cuckoos

besitos ascension

I think I'll go along with your sister Maggie; I vote for Santa number 2. I think he does seem to have the tenacity which Santa would need. You sure are doing marvelous creations, my dear friend☆☆☆
Love you always, xoxo Miyako*

Hi Maddy,
I think I'm going to have to go with #2. But maybe if they had their bodies on them, I could tell better. lol
Congrats on your winnings.

I used to love that show. It is really hard for me to vote since I cannot hear any deception or sincerity in their voices but I am going to make a stab at contestant number 3. Why? I am going with intuition here. ;-)

Oh you are one lucky lady to win that awesome box of goodies, Miss Maddy Rose. A huge congratulations to you, my dear friend. Hugs and love to you, Mina

I'm s bit late in casting my vote, but it was a toss-up between 2 and 3. My final decision is 3, because he has kind eyes.
